Location Analysis

These are two main grabs from our movie, they both show a link with the main storyline. As seen in the first photo we can see Kate and Russell when they first meet and indroduce themselves we can also identify both characetrs smiling showing their interest in each other. Alternativily in the second photo we see Adel and Russell where she is interested in him but he is showing he really doesnt care as his head is down and looking away in an unpleasent smile whereas Adel is leaning across him smiling trying to get his attention.

Location Analysis

This was another main location that we used - Kate's bedroom. we chose to have this regular location in order for the audience to be able to see that apart from school Kate spends her most of her time at home doing work and trying to help with other family members showing she is a bright and caring girl.

This is an establishing shot of the area we used in our trailer it basically shows what the houses in urban london look like and where most of the school kids are likely to live.

This is one of our main and regular locations we chose to use in our trailer as it is based in our school, the main sixth form canteen area where Adel and her friends mostly spend most of their time. This photo shows adel has friends and how she is a popular charcter.

Character Profile: Kate

Costume:
Arta is a good girl in our trailer. we decided to dress her in clothes such as formal shirts and trousers, these were mainly coulours such as beige, black and white showing she is at a lower status in her new school.

Personality/Character:
Kates situation is that she had just entered a new school and met a new guy - Russell which she falls in love with howvever he is also going out with Adel at the same time this creates tension in our trailer. we chose to have this character in our soap to show what a person from a different background coming into an urban setting in London would be like this also highlights her lifestyle.

Character Profile: Adel

Costume:
Adel is a slutty popular girl with attitude seen through the way she acts and also her dress sense. We chose to dress Adel in slutty and bright clothing such as shirts rolled up, wearing boys ties, messed up hair to one side and lots of make-up.

Personality/Character:
Adel is in a situation where there is a new girl at her school - Kate which she tries to steal her boyfriend therefore Adel gets very irritated by this and dislikes Kate alot. we chose to use this character in this way in order to show Adels power and strength to other members in her school. Adel's charcater also shows how her lifestyle is situated.

Character Profile: Russell

Costume:
Russell is a typical school boy, we decided for him to be wearing casual clothing such as school trousers, with a jumper which is seen in an urban setting however we also chose for him to use headphones to show he is into his music.

Personality:
Russell has a devious personality as seen in our trailer the way he acts with the girls.

Character:
Russell is in a situation where he is going out with Adel however a new girl arrives and he become close to her. We chose to have this character in our soap in in order for the audience to see what a boy living in urban London would act like and how his lifestyle is.
