These are a few grabs of Adel showing what her character is like. We can immediately see that she is the bad girl type as in the first photo she is wearing a lose tie with an open collared shirt, her hair up to one side and lots of make up on this is followed by a grab of her in the toilets where she is wearing a shirt again but this time she has it tied across her waist this shows her character is quite slutty as she wears inappropriate clothing for school. In addition she wears her shirts most of the time however they are quite tight and she doesnt wear them in the correct form.

Russell's Costume
Russell is mainly dressed in clothing such as shirts with a tie, formal trousers and an outdoor jacket on him most of the time. The shirt and tie show he is commited to school however the outdoor jacket represents him as he doesnt follow the procedure of the school rules and could suggest he is sort of a bad boy type. Additionally when he sits on the chair he is leaned back and sits as though he doesnt care whats going on around him with his headphones in as seen in most of the grabs.
Kates Costume
These are some main grabs of the main character - Kate. We can see what her character is like by her dress sense. In school she wears formal clothing such as shirts and trousers, suggesting she follows school rules and has the ability to learn and is willing to succeed. Whereas at home she is dressed in pyjamas most of the time or comfortable clothing such as tracksuits and jumpers. This suggests she does work at school such as school work and babysitting. In one of the images we see Kate on her estate after she has been bullied dressed in a tracksuit top this could show what most of the people in the area dress like.

Sound Track
Our music was essensial in order to highlight the tension, reflect the genre and adhere to conventions. In our soap trailer we used a particular grime track at the end which reflected a gritty urban realism. We need to import the track from a non copywrite website into soundtrack, and therefore knowledge of final cut pro enabled this to happen. The upbeat grime song, made the scene more effective and created a dramatic feel for the audience, it also changed the mood effectively as we opened with calm music in order for the audience to feel sympathy for Kate because she was the new girl and they can see the trouble she was going through, this type of music also added a romantic feel to our trailer when Kate was with Russell.
Magazine Final
Our magazine cover consists of many bright colours, a lot of shadowing and pictures promoting our soap and others too. We chose to do this as in our research and planning phase, we analysed 3 posters, they all had the same coherent theme. We also saw that they used mainly 3 or 4 colours that so separate each key issue and vice versa.
We used the colours yellow, pink, black and blue. We chose these colours as not only do they clashed beside each other, they also work well to helping to catch the customers eye. We also saw that most of the magazine covers had their logo in red and white. Seeing as we wanted to join the same coherent theme we too made our logo background red and our white writing. Our favorite effect was the shadow one as it really brought our magazine to life.
The characters we included on our magazine was the three main protagonists; Kate, Adel and Russell. We chose to place Russell in the middle of the two girls as it reflects our title ‘love triangle’ and also our main theme of young relationship troubles.
Our brand identity is the stereotypical view that one of teenagers struggles in today’s’ society is relationships, and how our brand identity depicts teenagers life in urban London. We kept this coherent through all three ancillary tasks, as we made sure the main focus was on the three main characters throughout. Also the poster and magazine work well as both imply a relationship gone wrong.

Poster Final
Our poster conveys an urban London setting consisting of a grimy west London estate, that we chose to do a black and white effect to emphasise urban estate’s loss of hope and the thoughts and feelings of the young living in it, hence our chosen title DEAN END. The effect of structuring and creative the setting this way is so it foreshadows the tragedy in our trailer and the characters in it.
We also have our three main characters on here, this is a coherent theme that we’ve carried out throughout. The torn photo implies a broken relationship, however having Adel be the one tearing it apart presents the audience with her characters persona and how she is the one breaking the relationship between the two. This helps our trailer is we wanted our audience to sympathise with Kate as it makes our ending of ‘did Russell die?’ more effective, and to hate Adel’s character. So we don’t only have a relationship issue but also a girl on girl issue too, something that may girls can relate to.

Original Photos
The are our original photo's taken for our magazine and poster with a description of why we chose and used these.
Magazine: For Vigan, we wanted to portray a popular 'on-trend' character, so we chose him o wear a hood and a jacket, as they those types of clothing are a stereotypical view of a teenage boy living in London. We also asked him not to smile as we wanted to portray him as a confused character in the middle reflecting our title 'Love Triangle'.

For Arta we wanted her to be waring a baby pink shirt and have her hair and make-up very subtle as it reflects her 'good-girl' image.
For Adel we wanted her to look angry as it reflects her characters events in the trailer. We first decided she would wear a black top, but then seeing as Vigan was already wearing black, we didn't want them to look like they were together so we gave her a white shirt to stand out from the background.Poster:
Here we first took a picture of Arta and Vigan, making it look like it was a personal photograph. In it we wanted to have the same clothing as in the magazine so show continuity for both our ancillary tasks.
The we took a picture of Adel ripping the photo, this in itself depicts our brand identity as it shows one of teenagers struggles: relationships.
We wanted Adel to have an evil facial expression to represent her evil character.

Location Analysis
These are two main grabs from our movie, they both show a link with the main storyline. As seen in the first photo we can see Kate and Russell when they first meet and indroduce themselves we can also identify both characetrs smiling showing their interest in each other. Alternativily in the second photo we see Adel and Russell where she is interested in him but he is showing he really doesnt care as his head is down and looking away in an unpleasent smile whereas Adel is leaning across him smiling trying to get his attention.
Location Analysis
This was another main location that we used - Kate's bedroom. we chose to have this regular location in order for the audience to be able to see that apart from school Kate spends her most of her time at home doing work and trying to help with other family members showing she is a bright and caring girl.
