Original Photos

The are our original photo's taken for our magazine and poster with a description of why we chose and used these.

Magazine: For Vigan, we wanted to portray a popular 'on-trend' character, so we chose him o wear a hood and a jacket, as they those types of clothing are a stereotypical view of a teenage boy living in London. We also asked him not to smile as we wanted to portray him as a confused character in the middle reflecting our title 'Love Triangle'.

For Arta we wanted her to be waring a baby pink shirt and have her hair and make-up very subtle as it reflects her 'good-girl' image.

For Adel we wanted her to look angry as it reflects her characters events in the trailer. We first decided she would wear a black top, but then seeing as Vigan was already wearing black, we didn't want them to look like they were together so we gave her a white shirt to stand out from the background.

Poster:
Here we first took a picture of Arta and Vigan, making it look like it was a personal photograph. In it we wanted to have the same clothing as in the magazine so show continuity for both our ancillary tasks.

The we took a picture of Adel ripping the photo, this in itself depicts our brand identity as it shows one of teenagers struggles: relationships.
We wanted Adel to have an evil facial expression to represent her evil character.

After we chose the photo's that we were going to use we moved them to Photoshop to crop, fix and add any effects needed.
